The Gift Refinery is a seasonal subscription box that curates sustainable, Canadian brand. Functionally, this project involved allowing shoppers to purchase and manage the quarterly subscription box, and or a one-off seasonal box. It was also essential to ensure that these options were communicated clearly on the site, to avoid any confusion that would require refunds. From a design and layout perspective, it was essential to communicate the value and story of the products being featured in each season's box.
Fairly Traded is a Canadian-based marketplace of consciously curated goods with a focus on community education, making local and global connections between artisans, vendors, and consumers. This project involved allowing users to purchase directly from the Fairly Traded Shop, but having the inventory and orders managed by the vendors directly. For the consumer though, it needed to be a seamless and cohesive process.
Fox & Poppy Designs is a storefront for unique handcrafted jewelry. This project involved building and organizing the inventory, building the site to optimize for conversion, while communicating the unique story behind each piece. As well, I worked with the store owner to empower her to be able to maintain and update her site with ease.
